Chapter 12

Chase caught Hannah’s low chuckle, a seductive tinkling of sound, and he smiled in response. You are one lucky man, he reminded himself. He strode back into her room and joined her on the bed.

“What’s so funny?”

Lying on her stomach, she rose up on her elbows and pressed her lips to the hollow just below his heart. “Nothing. I’m just…happy.”

“Well, this ‘old man’ is about to make you a whole lot happier. Flip over.”

Hannah turned over onto her back without question and stretched languidly. “So, what do you have in mind?”

“Something I’ve been fantasizing about all week.” Chase leaned over and kissed her on the lips, taking extra care not to touch the injured side of her face. She tried to deepen the kiss, but he had other things in mind. He nipped gently at her bottom lip and moved on to her chin, then the delicate stretch of her throat. He sucked lightly on the side of her neck before moving on to trace a wet path down her chest, stopping to give each of her beautiful breasts some loving attention.

Hannah gasped and sighed as she twined her fingers through his hair, urging him on with silent pleas. He loved the taste of her; the saltiness of her skin mingled with the musky scent of the body spray she must have spritzed on that morning, creating an intoxicating combination.

Chase grew hard as oak.

He continued on his path of pleasure, stopping to kiss and lick every inch of her as he moved closer to her sweet core. Hannah arched, a low moan vibrating from deep in her chest as he ran the flat of his palm down her taut belly. His fingers brushed the silken black curls at the apex of her thighs, and after a slight hesitation, she slowly spread them in invitation. Chase needed no further persuading. He lapped at her swollen pearl, ran his tongue up and down her slick folds, repeating the sensual onslaught until her hips moved in rhythm with his tongue.

Completely open to him, Hannah admitted in a broken whisper, “This is my first…I mean, I’ve never…” A soft gasp became a lusty cry of release as she clutched his hair and bowed off the bed.
